The management, governance and control of the business activities of
the
Association shall vest in the
Executive Committee which shall consist of 15
member including the chairman, Senior Vice
Chairman and the Vice Chairman,
who shall be duly elected.
The election of the Executive Committee shall be secret ballot. the
tenure of
Executive Committee members shall be for a period of three
years. During
the elections to be held between 1st July 1997 to 30th
September, 1997 all fifteen
members of the Executive Committee shall be elected from the total
strength of
members of the Association irrespective of their previous office.
In order to rotate and continue the
election process, 5 members of the
Executive Committee will retired in year 1998 and 5 members in the year
1999. The
retirement shall be decided by draw of
lots before the commencement of next
elections. The seats vacated as a
consequence of draw of lots shall be filled by
elections.
