OFFICE BEARERS AND THEIR ELECTION
AND
TERMS OF OFFICE

Association shall have the Chairman, Senior Vice Chairman  and a Vice Chairman
 who shall be elected from within the total strength  of  the  Executive Committee
by the  Executive Committee through majority of votes by secret ballot.

 

a)     Tenure of  the Chairman, Senior  Vice  Chairman  and Vice Chairman
shall be for a period of one year. On the expiry of annual term of office,
they shall be deemed to have automatically retired from their respective
offices unless they  are re-elected, but,  for  the  purpose  of  continued
representation of the Executive Committee they shall  be  treated at par
with other members of the Committee.

b)
    A member shall be eligible to serve as a Chairman for two consecutive
terms of one year each by elections.

c)   
The Senior Vice Chairman and the Vice Chairman shall be eligible to be
elected as Senior Vice Chairman and / or Vice Chairman for three consecutive
terms of one year each by elections.


The members of  Surgical  Association  after having completed one year' s
standing as member shall be entitled to vote or stand for election or nominate a
candidate for election, provided they have paid all dues including annual
subscription by the said date.
 


If a voter has cast more votes then a member is entitled to cast, ballot paper
shall be deemed invalid, but in case of less number of  votes cast, ballot paper shall be valid.
